The Fleet Safety Trainer will report directly to the Director of Safety and the General Manager. The Fleet Safety Trainer will establish and promote a safe, secure, accident-free and healthy work environment for all Athens Services personnel by working with Class A, B, & C drivers towards the elimination of on-the-job incidents, injuries, accidents, property damage and environmental accidents. The Fleet Safety Trainer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and enforcement of all training requirements in accordance with Company policies, procedures, operating standards, state and federal laws/regulations, and industry standards/requirements. Additionally, the Fleet Safety Trainer assists the operations and its management team to oversee the daily operations of the collection routes to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency are followed.
